Wooden bathtub caddy – If you are remodeling a bathroom and want to add wood trim around the tub to give your own custom look, it is not necessary to hire a contractor. You just need some common tools and a little patience. The hardest part of installing wood trim around a bathtub cuts is to get to the right corner and set the wood trim on the outside of the tub. Any do-it-yourself homeowner can complete the project, however. Measure around your bath, get all the dimensions of length. Record the data along with a brief description of each shot to make sure that the measure goes where.

Use safety glasses. Measure, mark and place the molding in a miter saw set at a 45 degree angle. Cut the molding to fit every measure around the wooden bathtub caddy. Stage each cut piece of wood moldings in their respective places to ensure that every angle of 45 degrees is aligned and forms a 90 degree angle properly. Allow the mold to acclimate for 24 hours.

Attach the wooden bathtub caddy molding around the tub by applying a bead of construction adhesive. Spread a layer of construction adhesive to the wall and the tub, then review the wood molding in place. Let dry overnight or while directed by the manufacturer before using the bathtub.
