1. Confirm that the location allows the cord to hang perpendicular to the wall under the lamp and still get to an outlet. Set your location accordingly until you are satisfied with the placement of the lamp.
2. Give a wood screw into the wall stud if the chosen location is on the stud. If the lamp hanging drywall, use a drywall anchor nominal thread to support the weight of your lamp tilting wall. Screw the anchor into the drywall with a Phillips screwdriver until the anchor sits flush with the wall. Install the anchor bolt provided at anchor.
3. Cover the lamp cord movable arm with the cable sheath provided. Insert the wire into the opening of the cable cover. Clean the wall with mild soap and water and dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth, where the cable sheath adheres.
